Stressed!

And not really sure what to do about it! The last couple of weeks have been rather crazy. For one there's been the insane amounts of time spent driving from one location to another, scouting locations where I could plonk the new cafe... and you begin to figure out why almost everyone who (really) lives here complains so loudly about the state of the traffic in the city... and then the gazzilion other things that need to be figured out in order to get this up and running!!! Equipment, suppliers, concept, menu, people, interiors etc. etc. AAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!! Mommmmmmmmyyyy!!!

The 3 most important things in the restaurant business are... location, location, location.

After doing the rounds of the locations we've had in mind... I figure that while finding THE location is something akin to finding the holy grail, it isn't sooo hard considering there're real estate agents to atleast guide you.

On the other hand, there are the million other things that still need definition that evoke this mind numbing fear in me.... people, equipment... hell even the right name!

Where oh where am I going to find the people and MONEY to make this happen!!!?? :((

So... this is a "need to control the panic" rant... kindly ekshkushe...

Back...

Back after what seems to be aaages. D-day came and went, and the last two months have passed in a bit of a haze, travelling, moving house, fire fighting, spec writing, concept developing and so forth... and in that time, my resolve to start blogging actively again seems to have wilted.

Here's hoping this marks the moment when a new leaf is turned :)
